OK…this is probably the only non-political post that will ever appear here.

Today we lost a dear pet. Her name was Xena, she was an Eclectus parrot. Those folks who have lost pets know the heartache that is felt when you loose an animal that has lived its life out of its natural habitat…these animals bond to their humans just the same as they bond with their flock, or their pack. Those who have had their life shared with a parrot know just how much these animals are alot like us.

Parrots are amazing birds. They are large, loud, boisterous…and unbelievably intelligent. Xena would hear my motorcycle coming blocks away, before my wife could hear it, and would start getting excited about seeing me walk through the door from work..

You see…parrots bond to a particular flock member. She chose me to be that one that she wanted to be with above all others. When I cam home, if I didn’t stop at her perch and pick her up immediately, she would calmly watch me walk down the hall to my room to change out of my work clothes, wait about 30 seconds or so, then fly halfway down the hall (we kept her clipped so that she wouldn’t hurt herself flying around the house) land on the floor, then simply walk into the bedroom, stand in the doorway, look up at me and say hello.

She would happily sit on my shoulder, just content to be sitting with her favorite person while I was doing whatever it was at the time, intently studying and watching, but above all, simply being together.

Its hard to have to make the decision that you dread…she didn’t just die. She suffered a stroke…within a few hours her right side was paralyzed, a few more and she began to loose motor function, and we had to make the horrible decision at the vets to put her to sleep. She died in my arms.

Our family lost a loved member…the house seems that much emptier now. We miss her already.

I’ve never been emotional about death…its a part of life, and living. Until today, when it simply devastated me. I guess what really hits home is the unconditional bond of trust and, if an animal can actually feel it, love. I can’t help but feel that she trusted me to provide for her, and in the end there was nothing that I could do but to put her to sleep. I can’t help but feel that I betrayed that trust in me, and it hurts.

Its gonna hurt for a long time.

You know…we have CongressCritters that are trying to pass laws to prop up and *save* the MainStream Media. And the MSM CEO’s are scratching their heads and wondering why subscriptions are down, why people are turning to the Internet for their news, why they are preferring free content as opposed to paying for their Liberal slant and drivel.

They are losing readership because the populace that are educated and can read and THINK FOR THEMSELVES (read: Conservatives), who just happen to be right of center politically, are tired of the Liberal media bias. This same thing happened once before in our history as a nation…its when the Colonists stopped reading the shit that King George and the elected Parliament were printing, and they started reading the home-grown rabble-rousing publications, such as Common Sense.

Back then, the Parliament and king tried to suppress the publications that voiced a solid opposition to the tyranny against the Colonies.

Today, we have CongressLeeches talking about bringing forth a bill that would license *genuine* publications and journalists, in effect making any and every blog illegal unless they met the guidelines and scrutiny of the FedGov.

I’ve often heard that history repeats itself, and that governments fail to learn from the mistakes of other governments past.

Well…if history is repeating itself here, then what we have isn’t the start of another revolutionary war…no, what we see happening is a chain of events that are well beyond the *start*, and are well on their way to a confrontation.

My advice is to stock up on ammo, make sure that the tools of freedom are clean and well-oiled, and get ready, because its gonna be a long and bumpy ride.

Seattle City Council passes an ordinance denouncing Arzona’s *law* (it isn’t AZ’s law…AZ is just doing what Fed Statutes say should be done…but I digress…) and a mere 3 HOURS before Seattle huffs and puffs and does the *morally superior* thing of saying that they are very mad at AZ and its law, Gregorio Luna Luna murdered his girlfriend in her apartment, in WA State.

Luna Luna was DEPORTED three weeks earlier…for the third time. His GF filed restraining orders. Reported his beatings.

And he still came back into this country ILLEGALLY, and murdered her in front of her children. Used a very large knife. (Not a ZOMG!!! GUN!!!!!)

But hey…keep doing the *morally superior* thing, Seattle… Those Illegals HAVE RIGHTS!

“Flags vandalized on Memorial Day”

Veterans groups are calling it reprehensible, which it is. Others are repeating the *Freedom of Expression* mantra of the Leftist asswipes in this country, which it isn’t. Only an extreme liberal interpretation of the First amendment could ever come close to protecting such disrespect as free expression, or free speech.

I’ve been watching with ever-increasing dismay just how low our collective society has fallen…just how entrenched in the gutter it has become.

I’ve come to the realization that the Founders had it right when they penned the Constitution. At the time, only landowners (yes, only the WEALTHY of society) were allowed to vote, because they had *skin in the game*, so to speak. Joe Blow blacksmith paid no taxes because there wasn’t such a thing as a tax on wages, therefore he didn’t vote either. Land Holdings were a sign of wealth, and only the wealthy could afford to educate themselves at colleges and/or universities. By placing the original provisions that only landowners (read: TAXPAYERS) could vote, the Founders ensured that only those men of well-educated, intelligent, and high societal standings would be in control of the Legislative process and the selection of members of the House of Representatives. The States were also represented, for it was the State Legislatures which selected Senators to represent the concerns of the States.

We slowly started to move away from that model in very short order, and what followed was the attempt to make more perfect the most perfect system of government that man had, up to that time, devised.

So what if the blacksmith couldn’t vote? WHen he invented something that was worthwhile and started becoming wealthy on his idea, then he could buy land, start paying taxes on those lands, and have a voice in his government. He didn’t have to be well-educated…the system was in place that if he had street smarts and could become wealthy based on his brains, he was OK. In this way EVERYONE, regardless of their background, could become wealthy, and at such point that they could secure the land to show their wealth, they could help shape the government.

The Founders nailed it…they knew that if everyone, regardless of social standing, had the ability to vote, then you would have the drunk, the whore, the con-man, the common criminal, the pickpocket and petty theif…all voting, and all voting based on t heir low social standing and understanding of the issues of the day. The Founders knew that nothing else motivated someone to become better educated as did the accumulation of wealth (ie: Land Ownership) and the desire to protect that hard-earned wealth from societal dregs that would want to vote themselves a slice of t hat wealth while doing nothing to earn it.

OK…so what does this have to do withh desecrating the Flag?

Everything.

It is directly because we have given the uneducated, lower rungs of society who only care about getting laid and getting high, and having a good time (by whatever their definition of it may be) a voice in Government when they have no skin in the game. It is those idiots who have managed to co-opt our Halls of Justice, and declare that the Constitution is *living and breathing*, and therefore can be interpreted to mean whatever they wish it to mean, whenever they wish it to mean so.

We should go back to our roots in t his country. We need to go back to only those folks who own land having the ability to vote. If you live in a ghetto, then tough shit…you don’t have a say, and you live at the mercy of those with wealth. You want a vote? Get off your lazy asses, stop breeding like rabbits, stop destroying property that isn’t your, and start showing some respect for the country which keeps you safe. It isn’t the Country’s job to cloth you and feed you…thats YOUR job. The Federal Goobermint is only there to bind the States together for the common defense of all the States, so that collectively they can continue to have their sovereignty, and provide an environment for their residents that is conducive to freedom and prosperity.

And while we’re at it, we need to repeal those Amendments (the 14th specifically) which forced the States to be bound to the dictates of the Federal Constitution instead of their own Constitutions. The Founders nailed it back then when they drafted the Constitution to be the document which held the Federal Goobermint in check so as to prevent a tyrannical centralized government. But through our history we have had yambags who thought that they knew better than our Founders, and that they could tweak and improve what was already the perfection of self-government.

We need to get back to the States having the freedom to set their own laws and rules REGARDLESS of what the Constittion protects, because the limitations are placed on the Federal Government against the States. The States, in turn, have the power to dictate to their peoples. If you don’t like the tyranny in your State, then fine..gain some wealth, and either pack up and go to a state that suits your better, or use that wealth to vote and have a voice in your state legislature, and in doing so improve your lot in life.

We need to get back to our roots, or we’ll continue to see our country sink into the abyss that is anarchy and self-loathing.

Memorial Day Weekend

OK…this week-end, I’m officially declaring it my no-rant weekend.

While the ObaMessiah sends his second-fiddle to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier tomorrow so that he, as President, can take a vacation because he’s entitled to it, those Americans who love their country will be remembering the men and women who paid the ultimate price for this great nation.

Lets also not forget those who returned home alive, who experienced the horrors of war, who buried those horrors deep in their minds and locked them away, and who went back to their lives, such as their lives were after witnessing hell on earth.

Lets not forget those who had to live with, and suffer from, the memory of war.

Memorial Day is for honoring those who paid with their lives. Veterans, whether returning alive or not, all paid with their lives. Those killed in action, and those who must carry  the horrors alone in their memories every day.

Take the time to thank a Vet this weekend.

All of the financial rating services are predicting that the USA will fall from the AAA+ rating as soon as 2013. My hope is that this asswipe in the White House manages it sooner (before the 2012 elections) so that he’ll seal the fate of the DemTards in Congress, handing Conservative a bullet-proof, veto-proof majority, so that we can pass meaningful reforms such as:

Repeal of the OBambiCare debacle…

Passage of an Illegal Immigrant law where they are put on a plane with a parachute and $50 US Dollars, flown over the cocaine fields of Mexico, and pushed out the door into drug-lord territory. Once they hit the ground, they’re on their own.

National Firearm Freedom, where its illegal for any state to infringe upon the right to openly carry a firearm *ANYWHERE*….post offices, federal buildings, etc., along with a national reciprocity of concealed carry permits, where every state must honor any other states permit. Period. Discussion over.

Abolishment of the Income Tax. The Goobermint makes enough money to fund its needs with all the other taxes on the books…it doesn’t need taxes on your wages. They could stop the stupid Ponzi-Scheme of wage taxes *and* cut the IRS staff by 90%, and it would be a wash. The ONLY thing that our wage-taxes do is fund the people thata are hired to *collect* those taxes….basically, they are enforcing their own salary collections. Thats it.

I firmly believe that this moron in the White House will de-throne Jimmy *I’m a fucking Peanut* Carter as the worst-ever President in American History. Which now, after the OBaMessiah has managed to dismantle the country, makes perfect sense…Carter is supporting this yambag and singing his praises so that history will remember his wrinkly old ass as the second-worst President ever, with B. Hussien Obama taking top honors.

My sincere hope is that the country can hold together long enough for things to be put right in November, and the sorry excuse for a President can get his ass tossed out in 2012, before States start seceding, the money runs out, and experience the same street-fighting that Greece is experiencing.

And the media is also trying to paint anyone who supports him as racists. They’ve had a hell of a time trying to stop the freight train that is the Tea Party (scary GUNS didn’t work to stop them…) so now the media thinks its hit paydirt, and is trying to smear Rand Paul as a racists, so that they can, by simple association, paint the Tea Party movement as racist because if Paul is a racist then anyone who believes as he does must also be racist.

Illegal Immigration isn’t about racism…its about fairness. My family (I’m first-born here in t he USA) came from Europe in the 1950′s (yes, that makes me over 50 years old) and when they escaped the shithole country (yes…they had to escape under cover of darkness) they had to seek asylum. They spent THREE YEARS in refugee camps in Italy waiting until their sponsor in the States, a family member, went through all the legal hoops, got everything in order, got my family’s *papers* all set, so that they could enter this country LEGALLY.

I can’t begin to describe the pain I used to see in my grandfathers eyes when he spoke of living in a refugee camp, with no place to call home, no money, and the whole of the family’s belongings in three suitcases.

I also can’t put into words the joy in those same eyes, and the pride, when he spoke of finally coming to America, taking the Oath of Citizenship, and stepping onto the street with no money, no food, three suitcases…holding onto nothing more than the promise of being a free man, and molding his own destiny.

Now…Libtards will ask why I want to deny others the same chances that my family had. And there’s the rub….I DON’T want to deny anyone that. I want others to have the same chance, and to do it THE SAME WAY that my family did it.

I want them to apply for citizenship, and wait the three years like my family did.

I want them to learn to speak English, like my family did.

I want them to be AMERICANS (my grandfather and my parents NEVER called themselves hypenated anythings….they are Americans. Period) and I want them to stop flying other country’s flags on American soil. I want a Constitutional Amendment that specifies the ONLY flag that can be legally flown is Old Glory, along with the flags of our branches of the Military, and the POW/MIA flag. State Flags can also be flown, but only within the state where it belongs.

You want to have a Mexican flag…great, hang one up on the rear-view of your car, so that the cops can see it and have probable cause to pull you over and check your status JUST LIKE THE COPS IN MEXICO DO. Or, you can chose to assimilate and blend in by NOT drawing attention to yourself, and simply be Americans.

Your choice. And if you feel that its racist to want the laws to be followed, then its YOU who have the problem, not me.

You know…we, as a country, should teach all these fucks a lesson. Not just Mexico, but all the shitbag countries that come to us with their hands out begging for help, then when we give them money to feed their starving populace they spend it on gov’t cronies and call us Evil Imperialists.

Lord knows we could put the money to real good use here at home…pay down the National Debt, invest in alternative fuel sources, build our industrial / manufacturing base up again, improve our schools…the list of things that we need to take care of at home is huge, and we could take care of ourselves, once again becoming the shining City on the Hill that Ronald Reagan eloquently spoke about.

Along with pulling the Money Teet out of the greedy suckers mouths we must also shut the borders. No more immigration. You get caught here illegally? So if you’re Mexican, and are here illegally, we follow Mexican Law and the very first thing we do is ask you not for your driver license…we ask you for your passport or visa papers. Thats the first thing that Mexican Authorities do when they stop someone. Their law is clear…you must show that you have permission to be in their country FIRST. Then if you’re OK, they proceed with the lawful stop. If not, they yank your ass to the ground, beat you with nightsticks, cuff you, and toss your ass in a local jail.

I’m too livid to even continue this post…hopefully someone high up in the Mexican Goobermint sees this…

And this is driving the radical goat-fuckers nuts, making death threats against any who click the *Like* link from their profile to this fanpage profile.

Well….I got news for you asshat radicals. I clicked it TWICE! Just try to carry out a death threat against me, why don’t you? You see, not only do I believe in the First Amendment guarantee of Free Speech, I also believe and practice my Second Amendment right to Keep and Bear arms.

My suggestion to you radical Islamists…crawl back into your caves. Even after 9/11, you haven’t sufficiently pissed us off enough to wipe the floors with your sorry asses. It takes alot to really get an American to the point where he/she snaps.
